About Us:

Although we started as a school, DevWorld Tech Academy is expanding and so we are establishing a new and ambitious creative firm based in Accra, Ghana, with a focus on delivering high-quality visual content across motion graphics, video editing, basic 2D & 3D animation, and multimedia production. 

As we lay the foundation of our brand, we are looking for a highly creative and versatile Video & Multimedia Specialist to join us as our first team member and play a key role in shaping our visual identity and client deliverables.

Role Overview:

As our founding Multimedia Specialist, you will be responsible for producing a wide range of visual content — from motion graphics to short videos and basic 2D/3D animations. You’ll work directly with the founder and early clients, taking projects from concept to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is multi-skilled, self-motivated, and ready to grow with a startup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce engaging video content, basic animations, and motion graphics
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for digital marketing and presentations
  • Create visual assets for social media, branding, and advertising
  • Collaborate on creative concepts, storyboarding, and visual direction
  • Manage multimedia equipment and software
  • Ensure consistent visual quality across all media

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in multimedia production (showreel or portfolio required)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Ability to work across multiple formats: video editing, animation, and graphics
  • Strong creative instincts and storytelling ability
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with basic 2D or 3D animation tools is a strong advantage (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, AutoDesk)
  • Must be based in Accra and available for onsite work

  • When you arrive, your application will be reviewed on-site, followed immediately by an oral interview and technical test (which you will perform on your laptop) to assess your skills and determine your suitability for the role.
