Multimedia & Animation Instructor / Multimedia Digital Content Specialist Job Vacancy

DevWorld Tech Academy (DWTA) in Accra is seeking a full-time, on-site instructor to lead our Digital Design, Video, Animation & Multimedia department.

This is an immediate employment opportunity for a qualified individual (Multimedia & Animation Instructor / Multimedia Digital Content Specialist) will teach and mentor students in various multimedia and animation courses, while also providing client services in the field of animation rendering, storytelling, design, multimedia, etc.

This is for those passionate about technology education and hands-on technical multimedia support. We want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Training:
    • Instruct students in the following areas:
      • Graphic Design
      • 3D Modeling
      • 3D Animation
      • 2D Animation
      • Video Editing
      • Motion Graphic Design
      • Visual Effects (VFX)
      • 2D Modeling
      • Multimedia Design
      • Multimedia Specialist
    • Develop and deliver practical lessons and assessments.
    • Guide students through real-world design and animation projects.

  • Client Projects & Technical Support:
    • Collaborate with clients requiring multimedia services.
    • Manage and execute client projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
    • Provide on-site technical support for the academy’s multimedia infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
  • Certifications such as Adobe Certified Professional, Autodesk Certified User, or similar are a significant advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in multimedia design and animation.
  • Proficiency in Animation and Computer Animation is an advantage.
  • Experience in Storyboarding and creating relevant Graphics.
  • Proven teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with students and clients of varying skill levels.

Application Process:

  • Visit DevWorld Tech Academy in person within the hours specified above.
  • Bring your CV, laptop, certifications, and qualifications.
  • Provide any portfolio or proof of previous work (if applicable).
  • When you arrive, your application will be reviewed on-site, followed immediately by an oral interview and technical test (which you will perform on your laptop) to assess your skills and determine your suitability for the role.
  • Before 07:00pm on the evening of Sunday, 11th May, 2025, you will be informed if you are accepted.
  • And you are to start work at 08:00am in the morning of Monday, 12th May, 2025.
